Band Business 04/19/2010 So much band stuff to do and so little time to get everything done. We are spending some much needed time on getting some more quality shows and even hopefully a promoter/ booker / uberfan to help us out. As the funds permit we will be trying to make Section 4 the biggest band in the universe. We are working hard to break into the collective consciousness...wish us luck. Also, we will let you know when the next barn burner is planned and you can once again see us play live.

THANK YOU! 03/06/2010 What an awesome time out at the Abbey last weekend! So many people came out to support us and the other local musicians bringing a smile our faces. The response for our new song Amigas has been amazing, thanks all who emailed us with your comments.
We are focused on our upcoming Elbo Room gig and getting as many people out to Ronny's. Tell EVERYONE!

3 shows for our friends in Chicago 02/23/2010 OK, so we have 3 HUGE shows coming up in the next few months. THE ABBEY!, THE ELBO ROOM! and RONNIES! Check out the shows page for more details on the dates and what not. We are roadtesting the new Amigas song so let us know what you think of it.
We have had some great responses to our recent shows, so thanks for all of the kind words! New Shows in the NEW YEAR! 12/19/2009 First things first - we have an awesome show booked on the 20th of January at Doubel Door. You have to come out and see us play our brand new song, "Amigas". But even more than that take a copy of our new EP for your very own. We have worked hard for your listening pleasure so take all you can carry and spread them around the world.
Also, we have a February 6th show at a houseparty - and we are checking to see if we can invite all of fans to rock out with the rest of the party. Good TIMES!

Merch, Last show before the festivals and new practice space. 08/17 We are now at our new practice space over on Western by the movie theatre. If you listen real close you can hear us banging away every Monday and Wednesday. No stalkers please
We are also working on some more t-shirt designs...after 2 years, it is definitly time for an update to the Sectin 4 wardrobe. Two new buttons will be out as well - an inverted S4 and a Versace style one. Going after the uber-style demographic.
AND we just got a show at The Bottom Lounge. Its on a Wednesday, but really come on - its The Bottom Lounge. A classic Chicago institution. Come on out...you know you want to!
We are tweeking the songs we went to the studio with a little while ago. They will be done soon, you know the deal. Studio stuff takes a while, but it is sounded awesome. I mean mad sick awesome.

New badass buttons 010/19 Well, I guess the post title says it all. It is the reverse of the button we had before - yellow over black.
Basically right now we are writing as much as possible and wokring on more covers. An all covers show is in the works, so stay tuned for more info.

Man, we are for real getting out there and touring around out of state. Thanks to Soncibids and the creators of PeaceFest Chicago we are now getting out of town and bringing our music to the masses. Michigan, Ohio and Missouri brace for impact, fools!
Out big buddy Ben at Zippybang for helping us start our new record. I guess it’s an EP since there are only 5 songs on it right now, but I am sure more will follow. Cross your fingers that Double Door picks up the Flabby Hoffman gig and that we will be able to play the stage. It has been awhile and we want back in.
So, in closing we have 4 new shows and more in the middle of being booked – some new material both stolen and original – a whole lot of new merch (since our merch bag has disappeared, sadly) – and not that anyone cares, but we will have a whole new practice space.

New Song. An as of yet Untitled song has been completed and played at Subt’s. We are still testing it out – but let us know what you think..or even what we should name it.

Writing and Recording 06/01/ Mostly focused on writing and recording these days. We are taking shows as they come up but all in all we are gearing up for some studio time, and writing new songs. Shortly we will be joining Ben in the studio to kick out some jams for an upcoming EP. Since people have been demanding that we record the new stuff we are doing just that.
